So it's been a while, here's a bit of an update: I'm in an apartment right now with my brother, and we're both working on our last year. I actually got my game approved for an undergraduate research grant, and I've been working hard on it for quite a while now (Mostly animation though, so I don't have a ton to show that would be very interesting. The good stuff is coming though!) The game is set for release in May(ish), which means I really gotta knuckle down and make this happen.

I spent the last month working full time overnight and juggling classes which was... exhausting. I'll be working a lot less now that the Christmas season is over, so I'll definitely make some real progress. I actually stream the work on twitch.tv from time to time under the handle shut_i_ .

Keeping up my posts here on DA has always been difficult for me, and now is no different..I honestly don't know what to do about that, but I hope you guys will stick around.. and maybe try my game out when we get it launched!

So, I know it's been a long time... like.. TOO long.. but here's the situation: I'm moving. Like..tomorrow. It's only to an apartment in the middle of town, but my folks are going clear to North Dakota. The whole family is upset..especially my mom. I'm doing my best to hold it together, fake a smile and try to prop everyone's spirits up as my brother and I move into our new place to finish our collective senior years at college.

It's going to be a lot of work, and both my schedule and finances scare the crap out of me.

I have to keep pushing though, even though the worry makes it hard to move, let alone do homework.


So.. for art stuff: I am not dead... just dead tired. I'm pushing to have my video game project taken up as my senior capstone project, and it's my highest priority right now other then paying rent and keeping food in the fridge.

It's still early, and I'll probably post a lot of boring stuff that my class requires in the beginning, but here's the dev blog. Come say hi some time!

Ok, so a much belated journal update: I've been working on assets for both Legends of Equestria and my own mobile game project (under NDA currently) so I've got a lot of stuff done that I'm just kinda sitting on. I'll post what I can as it becomes available! ><

Hey all! With the post of my new sculpture, I'm officially going to start a sculpture tutorial! I took a looooot of photos, so once I get a few projects that piled up (while I was fiddling with a certain sculpture) finished, I should be able to give you guys an insight into the madness that is my artistic method!
